Connie Reeves Cooke is the author of Fade to Dark which was published in 2006, and Cayman Heat which will be released in May 2012.

In addition to giving much of her time the past twenty years to chairing fund-raisers in Houston for the arts, education, medical organizations, and animal welfare, she spent many years as a magazine and television society columnist.

She has received several prestigious honors for her volunteerism and fund-raising and currently serves as president of the board of the Houston Humane Society. Her four precious Chihuahuas... Baby, Coco, Popi and Chita...are a never-ending delight in her life.

Connie and her husband, Clayton, divide their time between their homes in Houston, Texas and the Texas Hill Country on Lake Travis where she writes her books. She is currently writing her third novel, Cayman Wind, the sequel to Cayman Heat.
